The thought of the city of old traditional buildings has preoccupied his works that have the frequent usage of decorated (Mashrabiyas) oriental oriels units as a common feature with some colorful differences between the paintings. The city has appeared vacant; he then, transferred to the playgrounds with people who are upstairs observing the player, the matter that gives the feeling of carefulness and keeping on sports. The colors have spontaneously come in harmony from brown to blue with softness and transparency. The colorful areas have been connected together in movable and intersected aureoles vertically and horizontally on paintings. Sami has adopted cubism in all his works seeking the movement of stable buildings that has precisely dealt by him. He also dealt with the arrow thrower that has a strong action – in contrary to the rest of his works- where they were predominated by frequent lines and flat colorful areas the matter that makes the thrower is to release the arrow.
